Two things to note this week! First, we have moved the organ to better support the choir and Len’s ability to both play and direct them. The organ will now be towards the middle at the back of the sanctuary, with the choir seating also more centered. We’ll see how this works, and likely make tweaks going forward. I welcome your thoughts as well.
Second, this Sunday I am convening a Liturgy Team. This is a smallish group that will meet from time to time throughout the year to plan worship for the upcoming season. It seems have been the practice for a while to change out the Eucharistic Prayer and service music each season, and this is part of what we will be looking at. We’ll also look at any special events or services that occur within the season. This Sunday we will be focusing on Advent and Christmas, and also looking to Epiphany. There are still two open spots in this group and so if you are interested please give me a call or email me. We are meeting in my office at Noon and will close by 1:00 pm.
