Reparations in the Diocese Of Maryland

The Diocesan Council invites you to participate in listening sessions on reparations.

In response to a resolution at last May’s Diocesan Convention, Council was charged with taking up this issue. An ad hoc Committee on Reparations recommended listening sessions across the diocese.

At the listening sessions facilitators will welcome attendees and introduce the speakers, the Revs. Florence Ledyard and Jason Poling. Each speaker will present a different side speaking approximately ten minutes. Then follows an open forum for attendees to express their opinions. At the end, the facilitators will wrap up the session. The purpose of the listening session is for the Diocesan Council to hear your opinions.
