Fall is definitely here and we hope you have been enjoying the beauty of the season. In order to help our fine-feathered friends during this seasonal change, our Sunday School students made bird feeder treats during their group activity. You may have seen the treats hanging in the trees by our outdoor altar. This is the prayer they recited:

Dear Lord,
Hear and bless all animals and singing birds
And guard with tenderness small things that have no words.
Amen.

As part of the opening of Sunday School classes each week, our children make a joyful noise unto the Lord in song with Mr. Jon on the guitar (or banjo). With this in mind, the group will be singing during the 10:30 worship service on Sunday, November 22nd. This is the 4th Sunday of the month when our older youth will be participating in the service. Please mark your calendar for this event and come see, hear, witness the ministries of our Sunday School children and youth.

Don’t forget to pick up the monthly family activity sheets that Rev. Kristin provides, which has lots of ideas and suggestions fitting for the season. They are located in the lower level on the en-trance counter and upstairs in the foyer by the name tags.

Speaking of name tags……all Sunday School children should be wearing their name tag lanyards as well as adults. This will make it easier for Kristin+ to remember our names more easily – and, it helps our guests identify who we are. Please let your child’s teacher know if a lanyard is needed.
