Hello, fellow pilgrims. Last week I introduced you to the Camino paths we will be walking as a community of faith. Those paths are:
This week, I will share more about the first path: Community. As a community, we walk together, for Christ, for one another, and for our neighbors (which means everyone). As a community, we commit ourselves to faith, worship, service, and prayer. What does this mean? If we are to walk together in our mission to love and serve Christ and one another, then relationship building and strengthening is very important. As such, we will be launching Camino Circles—small groups who will intentionally participate in activities together, build relationship with oner another, and will serve Christ and community together. Activities might include shared meals, shared ministries, outings, Bible Study, community service, and more.
The hope is that these small groups will foster deeper, faith-based relationships and will strengthen communal engagement. It is also a lovely way to welcome and get to know newcomers. Please reach out to me if you are interested in participating in a small group. It is also a wonderful opportunity to hear one another’s story, which will be the topic for next week’s newsletter.
Until then, remember:
Every pilgrim arrives by a different road, and we all converge at Christ.
You are Beautiful and you are Beloved.
