From the Rector
We’re all set for our fall kick-off this Sunday! Grab a chair or a blanket and join us in the Memorial Garden at 8:30 am or 10:30 am for worship.**
There will be Sunday School registration after both services, and you can also pick up fall faith at home bags with devotional materials and seasonal activities for all ages. If you didn’t make it last week for our back to school blessing, you can still grab your water bottle sticker and backpack button, we’ll keep them out for the next few weeks.
Also, come ready to purchase your Basket Raffle tickets! The basket brigade and silent auction crew really outdid themselves this year, with more than 80 baskets, including traditional raffle baskets, cash & carry baskets, and smaller & carry baskets exclusively at the Thrift Shop – as well as a wide assortment of auction items including artwork, jewelry, hand-knit goods, and local specialties. Tickets will be for sale ($1 each or 6 for $5) in the church after each service.
See you on Sunday!
Yours in God’s peace,
Kristin+
**Reminder: inclement weather announcements to move worship indoors will be posted to our Facebook page by 7:00 am.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
The labyrinth is an ancient archetypal symbol dating back more than 3000 years.
While a maze is designed for you to lose your way … the labyrinth is designed for you to find your way. The path meanders and turns, but there are no dead ends or multiple routes – in fact there is just one path always leading to the center and back out again.
This truth allows us to focus on journeying the path and experiencing the metaphors that arise. Together we’ll explore how you can utilize the labyrinth as a tool for spiritual practice & sacred ritual in your personal life.
So begins a 7 part free online course about labyrinths you can access through this link. You’re invited to explore the spiritual power of labyrinths at your pace and then gather with Kristin+ and others for prayer and reflection on Sunday, October 31 at 9:30 am.
