This fall meeting hosted by the Frederick County Sustainability Commission is intended
for all community organizations, businesses, school teachers, administrators, parents
and students that wish to grow in knowledge to encourage and empower sustainable
environmental practices in Frederick County organizations and schools.
2:00 – 4:00 pm Community Organizations
Learn more about current and planned sustainability initiatives. Hear about new initiatives being
discussed for Frederick County. ‘What’s Next’ for waste, Livable Frederick planning, and green
programs.
4:00 – 6:00 pm Public and Private Schools
Learn more about Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education. Hear about ways
to get credit for what you are already doing. Share ideas and problem solve ways to build
environmental stewardship for our children.
