The Parish Record Book records all members and sacramental activities (baptism, confirmation, marriage, burial, and transfer of membership).  When Episcopalians move from one city to another, it is expected that they will chose a new spiritual home as quickly as possible.  Once a parish has been chosen, a Letter of Transfer should be requested from the previous parish.  A canonical Letter of Transfer officially transfers a person to a new parish and contains dates of birth, baptisms, and confirmations for all family members.  You can make this request directly or we would be happy to make the request for you.  Baptized persons coming from other denominations are invited to sign the Parish Register with birth and baptismal information to register your membership.  Your baptism must be recorded in the Parish Records in order to be considered a Member.  Members in Good Standing are those who are givers of record to the Parish, attend worship regularly and otherwise actively participate in the life of the parish family.
