2013 - 2014 Nursery School Registration!
St. James' Nursery School in Mt. Airy, currently in its 39th
year of serving the community, will begin registering new families for the Fall 2013 school year on Monday, 2/11/13 at 1307 North Main Street.
New families registering a child for the 2's, Preschool 3's, and Pre-K 4's program can do so beginning at 8:30 AM on 2/4/12. Alumni families can
register prior to public registration on 2/6-2/8/13. Our school holds dual accreditation through the National Association for the
Education of Young Children (NAEYC.org) and the Maryland State Department of Education's website. The school will continue to accept registrations
following this initial registration event. Parents can call the school office at 301-829-0014 for more information, to set up a tour and/or
to request an information packet.
Start Date Information:

2 Year Old Classes - must be 2 on or before 9/1/13

3 Year Old Classes - must be 3 on or before 9/1/13
-
Pre-K 4 Year Old Classes - must be 4 on or before 9/1/13

St. James' Nursery School is excited to announce a second accreditation!!
We are now accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). This is in addition to our first accreditation through
the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) - the nation's leading organization of early childhood professionals. We are proud of our school's
accomplishments and take seriously the job that we do for our families. To learn more about NAEYC and MSDE accreditations please read the information included in this
handbook beginning on page six. It is important to all of us at St. James that the community knows that the children in our program are getting the best care and early
learning experiences possible. All of us here at St. James’ have a commitment to offering the best preschool program possible and work diligently to ensure that the children
are being provided an outstanding educational experience.
