2012 - 2013 Nursery School Registration! 

St. James' Nursery School in Mt. Airy, currently in its 38th year of serving the community, will begin registering new families for the Fall 2012 school year on Monday, 2/6/12 at 1307 North Main Street. New families registering a child for the 2's, Preschool 3's, and Pre-K 4's program can do so beginning at 8:00 AM on 2/6/12. Alumni families can register prior to public registration on 2/1-2/3/12. Our school is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC.org) and is listed as an accredited school on the Maryland State Department of Education's website. The school will continue to accept registrations following this initial registration event. Parents can call the nursery office at 301-829-0014 for more information, to set up a tour and/or to request an information packet. We are happy to announce that the St. James' Nursery School is beginning another year of our "Cuddle-up and Target Reading Program".  We would like to thank the Target Store Corporation and particularly the Frederick Target for supporting our school by providing funding to support this program.  The focus of this project is to encourage parents to read to their children daily and to excite children about books and reading.  For four months of this school year, children will earn free books by reading with their parents each month!
