This Sunday, August 13, please welcome The Rev. Robert Deshaies as our visiting clergy while Kristin+ is away. Rev. Deshaies will share his personal witness about Food For The Poor’s mission to care for the destitute as a means of living out the Gospel mandate to love one another as the provide direct relief to the poor throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Rev. Deshaies was ordained in 1975. After 20 years as pastor of St. Benedict Episcopal Church in Florida, he joined Food For The Poor to promote their mission work in the Third World. To learn more about Food For The Poor visit their website www.foodforthepoor.org.
