I am excited to share that we are in the final stages of planning for the launch of the NEW digital Shell Newsletter. We stopped our monthly paper newsletter at the end of last year, and have been relying on our This Week at St. James’ Thursday news emails in the interim as we’ve dreamed and developed a new format.
The Shell Newsletter will launch on Thursday, September 7 – and the best part is that not only will it arrive in your inbox, but we will have paper copies set out in the narthex every week for those who are not online.
The new format will give you brief teasers for articles about multiple ministries and events, with the option to “click here to read more.” The link will take you to our webpage where you will be able to access the entire newsletter, and where previous newsletters will be archived for easy access.
I have worked with leaders in our various ministries to develop a rotation where some will contribute articles monthly, some bi-monthy, and others quarterly. I will continue to offer a weekly reflection, and there will be a section for announcements each week as well. As we transition into this new newsletter I invite your feedback and comments.
Finally, I offer sincere gratitude to Chris Richard and Laura Davis who have worked hard and creatively to bring our new Shell Newsletter to fruition.
